I want to detail this car so I cut the rear body off by scalpel.
Result
Front suspensions, airpipe, supporting bars and belts were scretch
build as rear cars references.
Most of the decal was put on the painted body. Desert yellow was
painted on the internal of body to give a kevlar-carbon composite
texture
I swear I won't buy any photo-etch parts at all so I do this...
You think it's silly? No,it's easy. I thin this part by sandpaper
and file (at behind! of course...) until the deeper part thin as paper.
Then I dip a needle on and the very thin plastic rupture easily.
Just take me 1 hours to do so...It's nice but faster then I go out
and paid for a etch parts. ^^
And finally I got my "Rothmans"decal...Now it's top coat
time...
When I'm waiting for a complete dry of top coats, I focus my job
to the engine rooms. Detailed by dozens of wires, pipes and plastic
sheet. I have many references but the real car engine in different
rally stage could be completely different. So I could tell you the
setting in my model car was more or less build by imagine. ^^;
